An
invitation to UK graduate students
The
American Studies Program invites four graduate students to
participate in the 2013 International
Graduate Student Conference. It will be held at Shanghai University, June
28-June 30. Lodging and meals will be covered by Shanghai University; we
anticipate being able to fund all or some of the airfares. If they wish, students can travel to other
parts of China either before or after the conference.
Those
graduate students selected to participate will be representing the UK American
Studies Center at Shanghai University. Now in its second year, this initiative
continues to foster academic and cultural exchange between the two
universities. For more information about the Center, go to http://americanstudiescenter.as.uky.edu/
