Call for "Honorific" Research Team

Welcome back EPE'ers!  Happy first day of school.

Last spring a small group of us gathered to brainstorm solutions to questions our UK Honors program has about admissions and curriculum.  We provided a report over the summer including a literature review of Honors admissions policies and suggestions for rubrics to guide the admissions committee.  Our next question involves investigating what makes a college honors course "honorific".

This is a good chance to apply your skills in synthesizing literature and research design to a real life policy question in higher education.  There are opportunities for course credit through independent study and/or a small research stipend (for books and travel).  If you are interested in joining our group or finding out more, please let me know. jjensen@uky.edu
