Project Director – Student Support Services
Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity is currently available for an individual with the skills and abilities to manage the financial, personnel, and operational functions of a new TRIO Student Support Services grant received by Berea College. This position will lead the design, documentation, and assessment of project services, coordinate and supervise the design and delivery of successful academic activities and programs; supervise, train, and evaluate staff; ensure compliance with federal legislation and regulations; monitor project budget and ensure that the grant complies with all budgetary guidelines. Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following: two years of administrative experience in higher education; experience with programs assisting disadvantaged students, preferably with federal grants, budgeting, reporting, grant writing, project implementation, and project evaluation; a Master’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, Public Administration or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All candidates should also be capable of providing a successful record of collaboration and teamwork, have exceptional communication skills, creativity, and the highest level of integrity.
