Dr. Ilona Szekely, an EPE alum who heads the art education program as an assistant
professor in EKU’s Department of Art and Design, received the
KY Art Education Association's Higher Educator of the Year Award for 2013. The
award recognizes excellence in teaching, research and service.
Dr. Casey Owen Shadix has been appointed the new Director of Recruitment and Diversity Initiatives, College of Health Science, UK.
