The person in this position assists in the development and execution of comprehensive strategic communication and recruitment plans to support the recruitment and yield efforts of Ohio University Undergraduate Admissions. In collaboration with faculty, deans, assistant deans, and university staff, designs, builds and manages printed and electronic campaigns, documents, queries, and reports to execute strategic communication objectives in the enterprise-wide constituent relationship management system (Talisma). Manages the fulfillment of direct mail initiatives and requested marketing materials. Provides virtual admissions advising services to constituents through various social media platforms. Manages the Undergraduate Admissions e-mail account in Talisma, by fielding inquiries, responding on behalf of the University, and routing inquiries throughout the university community as necessary. Develops, maintains, and implements standard e-mail responses that are consistent with and complement print and electronic messages distributed by Undergraduate Admissions in order to promptly respond to all inquiries. Manages inventory of Undergraduate Admissions recruitment communication collateral in coordination with Central Receiving, Mail Services, and Printing and Graphic Services. Conducts group information sessions to visiting students and parents in rotation with other admissions advisors. Provides counsel to students and families interested in Ohio University. Reviews admission applications and makes admission decisions. Assists with coordination, planning and execution of weekend and evening visitation programs, both on- and off-campus. As necessary, attend limited high school visits, college fairs, or other events to support recruitment and yield efforts. Serves as liaison to an assigned academic college and/or administrative department to share updates and changes, as well as provides guidance on academic departmental recruitment efforts.
