Graduate Internship working with Student Retention & New Student Programs
This position will assist the Associate Dean of Students with student retention initiatives at Transylvania University. Specific responsibilities will include attending weekly retention committee meetings, assisting with students experiencing academic or social difficulty, tracking follow-up contacts and helping to plan proactive academic support strategies. This position will also assist with initial planning efforts for Transylvania’s August Term – a 3-week seminar course that will be required of all incoming students in 2012. 8-10 hours per week; Paid position $8/hour.
