The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against breast Cancer 5K walk will be held October 23. This inspiring event unites the entire community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about the importance of early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund life-saving research and support programs to further our progress against this disease. You can gather a team of your fellow coworkers, parishioners, family members, and friends, or walk as an individual. Volunteers are also needed to provide their time and talent to ensure this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is a success.
