Study Chinese in Shanghai this summer

The UK Chinese Studies program announces a new summer study abroad program in Shanghai, China for undergraduate and graduate students.

This program will be led by Dr. Mingzhen Bao and myself, based at Shanghai University from May 17 to June 12. It is open to any student interested in learning Chinese language and culture, from brand-new beginners to more advanced learners. The program fee is $2,060 for resident undergraduates. Airfare, which can range from around $1,000 to $1,350 is not included in the program cost. As a UK-sponsored program led by UK faculty, students will receive UK GPA grades and 6 credits upon successful completion of all requirements.
For students graduating in May, a non-credit option of the program is available, for $1,650. Contact Alla Arnold in the UK Education Abroad office (257-4067 x 247) for more information.
