Increasing the Efficiency and Effectiveness of Grading Assignments
With David Sacks, Faculty/Instructional Consultant, The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT)
Thursday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in White Hall Classroom Building, Rm. 234
A common complaint from instructors is the amount of time it takes to grade papers, and often students make the same types of mistakes.  One tool that can be very effective for all instructors is to develop a scoring rubric for each assignment.  This workshop will provide you the opportunity to develop an effective scoring rubric, so come to this session with an assignment in hand and plenty of scrap paper.
