Anderson Cooper lecture 9/30

The UK Student Activities Board's Multicultural Affairs Committee is 
proud to announce the inaugural SpeakBlue Distinguished Speaker, Anderson
Cooper. Cooper will speak "From The Front Lines" in Memorial Coliseum on 
September 30th at 8 pm. Cooper is known for his personal and emotional 
coverage, especially during his coverage of Hurricane Katrina, the Iraq 
War, and the 2011 Haiti Earthquake. He has been named "Anchorperson of 
the Future", and has been commended for his work promoting equality for 
the LGBTQ community, being the "most prominent openly gay journalist on 
American television".


 Tickets are free for UK faculty, staff, and students and will be on sale 
September 3rd. General Public tickets are $15 and are available for 
purchase on September 7th.  Tickets are available at the Student Center 
Ticket Office or on Ticketmaster for General Public.
