to announce openings for 3 positions.

Program Director for Student Engagement:

This individual will assist in the overall advisement, coordination
and management of the Office of Student Involvement. Produce major
event programming at the University, working closely with the Student
Activities Board, diverse student groups and university departments.
Events include but are not limited to homecoming, philanthropic
events, concerts, etc.). Directly responsible for entertainment
contract negotiations. Supervises professional advisor staff team
responsible for ongoing advisement of Student Activities Board
executive and programming committees. Provides guidance and leadership
to student organizations for planning and executing campus events
encompassing cultural, entertainment, social, and recreational
activities. Responsible for review and approval of scheduling, budget,
advisement, and production of non-athletic student events for Memorial
Coliseum. Responsible for development, management, and presentation of
seminars in leadership development, promotion and publicity, event
planning, risk management, and personal development for student
leaders. Work closely with student led promotions, publicity, market
research and design teams for major (and minor) campus and community
programs.

This individual will direct the leadership education program housed
within the Center for Student Involvement. Coordinate, research,
assess, and identify strategic advancement of current curricular and
co-curricular programs, i.e. Emerging Leader Institute, academic
collaborations related to civic engagement and service-learning,
leadership immersion programs, and other initiatives. Supervisory
responsibilities include working with an Assistant Director for
leadership education and a Graduate Assistant, as well as a student
peer leadership team. Includes teaching and advising students
routinely, and working in tandem with a professional advisor team
dedicated to student engagement and leadership development. Excellent
written and presentation skills are critical. Understanding of
leadership theory and application in a collegiate setting within and
student development programs is essential.

This position will assist the Program Director for Leadership
Education in the assessment of and strategic planning for a
comprehensive leadership education program at the University. Deliver
leadership education programs, including curricular and co-curricular,
i.e. Emerging Leader Institute course, leadership immersion programs,
workshops and retreats, honors and recognition programs, and other
leadership oriented initiatives. Serve as a professional advisor
working with student-led leadership development programs. Assist in
the administration of the student organization registration process.
Participate as a member of a professional advisor team in the Office
of Student Involvement.
